Neighbourhood of Fear<\/h2>\n

Months have passed since officials expelled police cadet Jo-Ann Gauthier from the Quebec National Police Academy. Powerful adversaries manufactured allegations of cheating in a calculated attempt to derail her career. Jo understands that she has been targeted by influential actors, although the full extent of their interest has yet to be revealed. No one has allowed her a chance to defend herself  nor any path to reclaim the future she worked so hard for.<\/p>

Grief follows closely behind injustice. While Jo struggled to stay afloat, working a short-term bar job in Mexico, her beloved Aunt Dorothy died unexpectedly. Upon Jo\u2019s return, her estranged family orders her to clear out Dorothy\u2019s house and stay out of the way. Questions fester. The funeral was rushed, family members refused to speak plainly, and the circumstances of Dorothy\u2019s death carry a troubling air of secrecy.<\/p>
